Delete your Basket account

You can permanently delete your account from inside Basket.

On iPhone or Android

1. Open Basket.
2. Open the household menu and choose Settings.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Read the explanation, then confirm.

Sign in with Apple

Basket asks Apple to disconnect your account as part of deletion. If Apple cannot confirm the request, choose Delete data and disconnect Apple manually. Your Basket data is still deleted. Then remove Basket under Sign in with Apple in your Apple Account settings. Apple’s instructions explain how.

What is deleted

Your sign-in identity, Basket profile, household memberships are removed. Any household where you were the only member is deleted with its list.

What remains

Lists and history belonging to households with other members remain available to them. Your personal attribution is removed, so those entries no longer display your name.

Deletion cannot be undone. If you later return to Basket, you will start with a new account and will need new invitations to shared households.
